Yarmouth Town and Municipality are joint municipal partners on the Yarmouth Atlantic Climate Change Adaption Solutions (ACAS). This is a fancy way of saying that climate change is going to effect our communities and we need to be making policy and planning decisions based on adaption to the inevitable changes. In the near future our political units will be required to develop Municipal Climate Change Action Plans. This workshop is a first step in a process. It will focus on illustrating potential changes in sea level in our region, discuss potential impacts, and gather anecdotal information of current changes perceived by the public. Be part of the process; be part of the solution; attend the workshop.
