Arthur Earle

TREPA has lost another highly respected sage. Arthur Earle left us peacefully early in the morning of January 17. Art was a consistent voice of patient, common-sensical wisdom, and was always ready to step in to help where he could, to the best of his ability. His last contribution was on January 10, when he booked the Lake Vaughan Fire Hall for our next Annual General Meeting. That example of service right up to the end is something for all of us to emulate.

Our sympathy to Ruth and the family is combined with gratitude for Art’s years of service, both as Treasurer many times, and in other voluntary capacities through the years. We will miss him, but are glad his departure was peaceful and we are not worried about his future.
