Following on Fisheries and Aquaculture Minister Sterling Belliveau’s May announcement that the government planned to develop regulations for a more sustainable industry, the province has organized public meetings.
Meetings will be held as follows:
July 30: Rodd Grand Hotel, 417Main Street, Yarmouth
Sessions will be 2:30 p.m. to 4:30p.m. and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The meetings will be led by independent consultants Meinhard Doelle and Bill Lahey, both Dalhousie law professors.
