The Fournier report, related to Marine Energu issues, released by the NS Department of Energy this week, includes an endorsement for planning and integrated coastal management. In particular see pages 26 to 32. Recommendations 8 to 11 are of relevance to our work for a coastal policy and legislation.
The latest word is that the long-awaited coastal strategy will be made public by the province the first week of October.
